Mindfulness Workshop: May and June 2017
Mindfulness for Stress Reduction
Communication: May 13, 8pm - 9pm & May 17; 1 pm - 2 pm
Transform painful emotions into healthier perspectives. We will practice Mindful Listening, and learn how to resolve disagreements by looking at common needs through empathy.
Integration: Jun 10, 8 - 9pm & Jun 14, 11am - 12pm
There are so many opportunities to be mindful throughout our day. Learn additional mindful practices such as Mindful Eating and Mindful Walking; along with Compassion and Gratitude Practices.
For Ages 12 to 120
Fee: $ 1 8 per class / $30 for both classes
Marina Barnes, a certified Mindfulness Instructor, is offering a series of four classes on Mindfulness for Stress Reduction at Ciel. She will share with you specific mindful practices that can improve your overall well-being.
Nutrition and exercise are excellent ways to keep our bodies fit. Through mindfulness, you will learn how to keep your mind fit by tuning into your thoughts and emotions, learning new ways to slow down, and how to be present.
Marina is passionate about sharing the benefits of mindfulness to help you lead a healthier and happier life.
